Castrol – acquired by BP in 2002 – makes lubricants for a variety of applications across land, sea and air. Its products are sold in more than 150 countries, and it's the preferred partner for VW, Audi, BMW and many other automobile manufacturers.
There's no denying it – it's tough to make oil analysis and equipment labelling sound glamorous. But Castrol BP wanted me to entice vessel managers with copy about its Marine New Build scheme.
Working alongside a talented designer, I produced a unique infographic that simplified vast quantities of technical source material into succinct takeaways, explaining potential pitfalls on a new-build ship and how the program can minimise their risk.
