The company

Nominet is the official registry for UK domain names, directly managing registrations including .co.uk and .org.uk. It currently holds almost 11 million .uk domain names, and also manages the .wales and .cymru domains.

The brief

I regularly work in partnership with video production agency MediaNerd to produce content for Nominet – mostly video scripts – turning complex reams of text into digestible clips for social media.

Perhaps the most challenging project we've worked on together is a series of 10 YouTube videos about running a small business, covering topics like content marketing, eCommerce, cybersecurity, social media strategy and SEO.

For each of these videos, I needed to condense thousands of words of information into engaging video scripts that would be easy enough for business owners to understand, while retaining all the key messages.

The verdict
